THE GREAT LUNENBURGLARY

I was thrilled to have the opportunity to design and illustrate the cover for one of my oldest friend's debut comedy novel - The Great Lunenburglary by Bryn Pottie. The book officially launched in June 2025 and all bias aside - I have to say this is one of those rare laugh-out-loud affairs; a book which gracefully weaves a charming tale of high adventure while simultaneously putting to ink some obscure small town idiosyncrasies that - as a Lunenburg boy myself - are truly validating and utterly, delightfully foolish to read in print.

Once I had read the manuscript I knew I wanted to present a 'rogue's gallery' of this book's incredibly colourful cast of characters, and tie in some of the book's namesake settings and, well, Bryn let me take the helm. For marketing elements I've also helped establish some promotional sellsheets for resellers, promo posters, social posts and a website overhaul to help Bryn hit the ground running with promotion of the book, but in true small town fashion - word of mouth is quickly proving to be the most effective marketing strategy.
